INKEDblog takes you beneath the skin of today's tattoo culture. Our mission is to celebrate tattooing as a modern art form which incorporates art, fashion, style, and pop culture. While paying homage and respect to the past, we look to present a contemporary take on the present and future of skin art.

Tonite my stepson and my youngest (19) asked me about what I thought about them getting a tattoo in memory of their brother Christopher that fought a almost 5 year battle with cancer. Chris has been gone almost a year (Feb. 28/06) and to think the boys plus a friend of my son want to get this done is very touching, even I am now giving serious thought to this idea.
I just want to be sure we catch the essence of who my Christopher was, a great kid, a hero, loved kill your parents music and would have been an awesome skateboarder if cancer had not robbed him of his life...Forever 19
