Every BODY Has A Story - Scott

dime.jpg

"It's a widely accepted phenomenon. Finding dimes is a message from a loved one from "the other side". I have been finding dimes for five years, since my son died in a horrible car accident. I probably have 200 of them! And they are always in the weirdest places. On the shoulder of the road, in a driveway, etc. I almost always find a dime during a race (I am a runner). I stop to pick them up, and have been almost trampled by runners behind me. I put this dime tat on my wrist, in a spot usually covered by my watch. The sillhouette is my son's instead of FDR. Now whenever I have to remove my watch, I find a dime. It always makes me smile."

hey, thanks for the post about dimes! i've recently been doing research on dimes and specifically tattoos of dimes. a very important person in my life died this year. i wanted to get a dime tattoo to commemorate his life and his influence but didn't have any reason to choose this symbol other than we once fought about whose head was in fact on the coin. nevertheless, it's just what seems right. it's interesting to find that others have had the same experience.

Strange about the dimes! my dad died nine years ago and we find dimes all the time. My husband finds them more than me but it seems like when ever he looks down theres a dime. I really thought it was just a thing that happened to us. Weird huh?
